Cookie Policy

Last updated: March 2026

The Short Version

We use a small number of cookies to make the site work and (with your permission) to measure how people use it. We don't use cookies to build advertising profiles or track you across other websites unless you've consented to marketing cookies.

What Cookies Are

A cookie is a small file that a website saves on your computer or phone. It helps the site remember things — like whether you've already accepted the cookie banner, or which page you came from. Some expire when you close your browser (session cookies), others stick around for a set period (persistent cookies).

Cookies We Use

Strictly necessary

These keep the site running. Without them, forms wouldn't submit and the cookie banner would pop up every time. You can't switch these off.

  • cookie_consent: remembers your cookie choices (12 months)
  • __vercel_*: set by our hosting platform for routing and security (session-length)

Analytics (optional)

These help us see which pages get visited, how long people stay, and where they drop off. The data is aggregated. We don't use it to identify individuals. Only placed if you consent.

Advertising (optional)

If you arrived via a LinkedIn or Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ad, their tracking pixels may set cookies to measure whether the ad led to a form submission. This helps us spend our advertising budget on things that actually work. Only active if you opt in.

  • LinkedIn Insight Tag: measures ad conversions and allows retargeting on LinkedIn
  • Meta Pixel: measures ad conversions and allows retargeting on Facebook and Instagram

Both LinkedIn and Meta have their own privacy policies explaining how they handle this data.

How to Control Cookies

On our site

The cookie banner that appears on your first visit lets you accept all cookies, reject non-essential ones, or choose which categories to allow. You can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser cookies and revisiting the site.

In your browser

Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies. Here's where to find the settings:

Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site from working properly.

Updates

We may update this page if we add new tools or change providers. The date at the top tells you when it was last revised.
