You give us some details about your business. We pass those details to a regulated broker who can help you find funding. We don't run credit checks, we don't lend money, and we don't sell your data to marketing companies. That's the short version. The rest of this page covers the detail.
Greenlit Funding is a trading name of Tofts Capital Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company number 15271441). Registered office: 6b Parkway, Porters Wood, St. Albans, England, AL3 6PA.
We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (registration number ZC107696).
We are an introducer. That means we connect businesses with regulated credit brokers and lenders. We do not lend money, arrange credit agreements, give financial advice, or make lending decisions. For data protection purposes, we are the controller of the information you submit through our website.
When you use our eligibility checker or get in touch, we collect:
Our website also automatically records:
When you complete our eligibility check, you're asking us to introduce you to funding providers. To do that, we need to share your details with one or more regulated credit brokers or lenders. The legal basis for this is performance of a contract (you requested the service) and, where applicable, your explicit consent (given via the checkbox on the form).
If you ticked the optional marketing box, we may send occasional emails about funding products or business finance tips. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link in any email. The legal basis is consent.
We use analytics to understand which pages are useful, where visitors drop off, and whether our ads are working. This helps us improve the experience. The legal basis is legitimate interest.
Regulated brokers and lenders. When you submit the form and give consent, your details are passed to FCA-authorised credit brokers and/or lending partners. They may contact you directly, assess your eligibility, and (if you choose to proceed) conduct soft credit searches that do not affect your credit score. Once they have your data, their own privacy policy governs how they use it.
Service providers. Our website is hosted on Vercel. We may use tools for analytics (such as Google Analytics or similar) and ad measurement (LinkedIn Insight Tag, Meta Pixel). These providers process data on our behalf under contract.
Law enforcement or regulators. Only where we are legally required to do so.
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not perform credit checks of any kind. Our eligibility assessment uses only the information you type into the form. If you later proceed with a broker or lender we introduced you to, they may carry out their own checks. They typically start with a soft search (invisible to other lenders) before requesting your permission for a full search.
You can ask us to delete your data sooner. See "Your Rights" below.
Our hosting infrastructure may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place (such as standard contractual clauses approved by the UK Government).
All pages on our website are served over HTTPS (encrypted). Our hosting provider (Vercel) maintains SOC 2 Type II certification. We restrict access to personal data to those who need it and review our practices regularly. That said, no system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that data transmitted over the internet will never be intercepted.
