What We Do (and Don't Do)

Greenlit Funding offers a free service that helps UK businesses explore funding options. You answer some questions about your business, and we introduce you to regulated credit brokers and lenders who may be able to help.

We do:

• Collect basic information about your business and what you need
• Run a quick, non-binding eligibility check based on your answers
• Introduce you to regulated third parties who can take things further

We do not:

• Lend money or make credit decisions
• Give financial advice or recommend specific products
• Promise that any lender will offer you funding
• Perform credit searches on you or your business
• Act on your behalf in negotiations with lenders

We are not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. We are an introducer, not a broker or lender.

The Eligibility Check

When you complete our form, we assess your answers against general lending criteria. If we show you an "eligible" or similar message, that means your answers appear to match the broad requirements of lenders on our partners' panels. It is not an offer of credit, a guarantee of funding, or a promise of specific terms.

Any formal offer depends entirely on the broker or lender you speak to. They will carry out their own checks, which may include credit searches, affordability assessments, and identity verification.

Who Can Use This Service

• You must be acting on behalf of a UK-registered limited company
• You must be a director, owner, or someone authorised to act for the business
• You must have a genuine interest in exploring business funding

What We Expect From You

• Provide honest, accurate information
• Don't submit fake or test enquiries
• Don't use the site for anything illegal
• Don't pretend to be someone you're not
• Read the terms and privacy policies of any broker or lender before entering an agreement with them

How We Get Paid

You pay nothing. Our service is free to the businesses that use it. We may receive a referral payment or commission from the broker or lender we introduce you to. This does not increase the cost of any funding you receive, and it does not influence which providers we work with.

Third-Party Relationships

Once we introduce you to a broker or lender, your dealings with them are between you and them. We have no control over the products they offer, the rates they quote, or the decisions they make. We accept no responsibility for their actions, omissions, or the suitability of any product they offer you.

If something goes wrong with a broker or lender, your complaint should be directed to them in the first instance. FCA-regulated firms must have a formal complaints procedure.

Limits on Our Responsibility

To the fullest extent the law allows:

• The site and service are provided on an "as available" basis, without guarantees of uptime or accuracy
• We are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site, reliance on our eligibility results, or any introduction we make
• Our total liability for any claim connected to these terms is capped at £100

Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury from our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that UK law says we cannot exclude.
